Saturday, take a moment to Restore & Renew at 3pm! In this two hour workshop, Caitlin will lead you through a passive, quiet practice in which the body is fully supported by blankets, bolsters, blocks and props. Restorative poses are held for an extended period of time, allowing the body to sink into stillness and relax deeply. First, you’ll get cozy and warm as you settle into Restorative Yoga asanas to ease relax the body, then clear your mind as you are guided into yoga nidra and an extended savasana.
Sunday, dive deeper into the world of radical backbends and inversion, in the 4th Annual Intermediate Series. Starting at 1pm Justicia will lead an extended practice moving towards more challenging poses with reverence and expert instruction and a conversation shared among all in class. Expect strong practice, deep laughter, and a respectful, inclusive practice. Students are recommended to be able to push up to urdhva dhanurasana (full wheel) with straight arms, and be able to kick up to handstand at the wall unassisted.This asana series is for experienced students who want to practice together in community and approach intermediate and advanced poses in a supportive, fun way.
