Class types approximately from most gentle to most difficult:
gentle: Softer, slower-paced practice; great for aging anatomy and anyone wanting a gentle, accessible approach. Beginners welcome.
restorative: Props support the body fully in passive poses for a deeply restful and rejuvenating practice. All are welcome.
basics: Slower, informative practice great for beginners and all seeking a more detailed practice.
aging yogis: Class centers practitioners over 50, although you don’t have to be 50+ to attend. More active than gentle with a heightened focus on alignment for aging bodies.
all levels: Open to all levels, alignment-based vinyasa. Variations offered for all; beginners welcome.
all levels + restore: A hybrid class that blends 45 minutes of all levels alignment based flow and 30 minutes of restorative yoga. All are welcome.
all levels + roll: Open to all levels, blended w/ some myofascial release through self-massage with tennis balls!
all levels + meditation: Open to all levels, alignment-based vinyasa. Variations offered for all; beginners welcome. Class ends with a fifteen minute guided meditation.
advanced: Students and teacher practice together in our most playful, advanced class. Not for beginners. Local teachers only $12 cash, any studio, any style.
Specialized classes for specific populations:
yoga for parkinsons: an adaptive yoga class for those living with Parkinson’s, taught by donation. Caretakers also welcome.
connected warriors: free trauma conscious yoga classes for veterans, active service members, their families and/or support groups, and also first responders (police, fire and EMT).
